Some of our banner advertisers may use "cookies" to, among other things, govern which banners are shown to you.  These "cookies" are completely the responsibility of those advertisers. We do not have access to this information. (At some point in the future, Talk2k.com itself may itself employ "cookies" to enhance our listeners’ experience on our website such as displaying specific content. Talk2k.com logs IP addresses to help us administer our website, differentiate unique visitors to our website and to provide us with other general demographic and usage information. No personal information is gathered from the IP address.

Our servers gather the GUID (global unique identifier) value from both RealPlayer & Windows Media Player. No personal information is available to us via this number. We only use this to help us keep an accurate tally of unique listeners to our programs. Consult your player documentation for more information on the GUID.

We use opt-in forms on our website to facilitate interaction between our visitors/listeners and our on-air hosts & administrative staff. In these forms, we may ask for your email address, your geographic location in addition to your comments. The information gathered here is used only for the specific purpose at hand—interaction between visitors/listeners and our hosts/administrative staff. You are not added to any mailing list unless your specifically opt-in by either checking a specific box on an online form when contacting us or by specifically subscribing to a particular email list. We do not sell email addresses to marketing firms.

Our various email lists are opt-in only and are used to convey information on Talk2k.com events to our visitors/listeners who express and interest in receiving program or website updates. Users can opt-out of email lists at anytime.

Some visitors may communicate directly via email with our on-air hosts or administrative staff to ask questions or to make comments about specific show topics.

Once again, we do not sell our email lists to anyone.

Where appropriate, some general, anonymous and non-identifiable visitor/listener information such as general age groups, general interests, geographic area or numbers of unique listeners may be shared with advertisers to show the general makeup of our listenership. This helps us to bring only those advertisers that will be of interest to our visitors/listeners to our website in either audio or banner fashion. No information specific to any individual is conveyed to advertisers.

Visitors/Listeners can request to have their information in our database removed or updated by contacting us at admin@talk2k.com or via telephone at 714-708-0235.

Our website programs allow for our listeners to call our program hosts live on the air. Information collected for this interaction includes the caller’s FIRST NAME, the CITY or GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION from where the listener is calling, and other MISCELLANIOUS INFORMATION as needed to facilitate the interaction. As with our online forms and opt-in email lists, some anonymous demographic information, such as general geographic location may be shared with advertisers to show the general interests and makeup of our listenership. No personal information is passed on.
